So, who recalls this thread from a few months ago?

Did you get what you wished for?

Candyman, Candyman, Candyman ...

What I can't get over is some of these amazing quotes:

"I have all of my own threads cut, pasted, and printed, then framed and placed on my wall."

"My best (posts) though, are ones I took from LiA and just put my name in...people are impressed with my writing now."

"thus fur; IE, Dire's fur stinks, therefore he is?"

And the best one:

"Hmm, ignoring me, eh? Logical, irritating, and probably the best approach."

You give a fair account of yourself my aphoristic friend, but you can't top this one, which pretty much qualifies T4-10-0-9 for round the clock nursing, free sedatives and a set of plastic cutlery:

Come on oh_uh_um_ah ......... e-mail me (please). It's not true what they say about your reviews - they're all unique and every word is true - and if you give them five stars then they're five star shows - no argument.

Glad you spotted the irony in that one and it didn't fly over your head unnoticed like I first feared.

Did I get what I wanted? Well, no, not from our 'OUUA' friend, but have managed to surpass my own expectations by other means so "all's well that ends well" as they say.

Re: the 'copy & paste' reviews - at first they just annoyed me a little but now they're really p*ssing me off. Reminds me of that line from a little ditty that says something like "Sign the Mona Lisa with a spraycan, call it art" - each and every one of those shows with 'THAT' review has almost been tarnished. But still, it's all just opinion.

The important thing is that we remain one big happy family - I haven't got the wrong end of the stick again, have I?

Peace and goodwill to all genuine Dead fans - maybe from now onwards we can just concentrate on enjoying the music, subject only to our individual preferences - maybe ????

Not until you realize we should all be listening to 68. Anything else is a violation of Free Speech.

That is THE year after the year after the year that the FS movement at Cal peaked, afterall.

So, get with it. Crank up Avalon and stop treading on my rights!

OK and I even agree to pay you commission each and every time I listen to a '68 show.

And I promise not to add any 'dopey' reviews to any of the shows in question.

Am I forgiven for feeding the troll or must I continue to stand in the corner wearing my dunces cap while listening to the painfully plodding duplicated drumming of the '77 era?

Whoops - I mean 'IMHO'.

Excellent! ["commission" idea]

I should also rec' something for each review I've posted (damn, haven't been many...gotta start cutting and pasting).

If the DEAD get something for making it, shouldn't I get something for talking about it so much? I know that I have personally convinced many unsuspecting sorts to purchase massive amts (well...okay...just an album or two, but the principle stands!) of GD related merchandise.

$$$ cha-ching!

Someone had to say it (about the '77 drumming.) Now, get out of that corner, lest we assault your ears with a 77-era disco-style "Mexicali Blues"...

You're right...I was taking the "cut and paste" notion to the extreme while re-reading my old posts (why bother with what anyone else has to offer I always say) thinking that I really should just start recycling them all...and then, I was actually proud of one or two (if you'll pardon my patting my own back), esp the one about LiA since wasn't it only recently he was accused of stealing someone else's posts for his own and it was determined it was the other way around?

Maybe I got him in trouble?

why steal any one else's post ? i strictly don't know how to file my posts in my computer . It would be best in archive.org did that automaticaly .why not? AND i am not at all ready to hear advice on how to file posts right now I am still just learning how to send a message overseas so enough is enough!
